Getting your business number

Your CRM uses a dedicated phone number to handle texts and calls, so every conversation is captured and nothing lives on a personal phone.

You have two options, both handled on your setup call. Provision a new local number in your area code (quick and easy), or port your existing business number so customers keep dialling what they already know (takes a little longer as the carrier transfers it).

This number powers your two-way SMS and missed-call text-back. Incoming calls and texts are logged in your inbox against the right contact, and you can reply by text right from the conversation.

Before texting works, the number needs A2P registration approved (the carrier sign-off for business SMS) - we submit that during onboarding.

Tip: if you rely on your existing number for word-of-mouth, porting is usually worth the short wait - you keep your reputation and never miss a call to the old line.
